While listening to yesterdays episode of @theangrydesignerpodcast Massimo & Shawn were talking about Paul Rands 7-Step Logo Test, really insightful and definitely going to apply them going forward.
While learning about Paul Rands process the topic of his iconic work with Steve Job’s other company after he left Apple for a bit was NeXT computers. I wanted to take a swing and design my own version and tweak a few things, while keeping with in some of the original branding/colour.
Since the company was focused on education and Business I added a graduation cap into the PC icon to go along with the idea. I did do my own idea of his original cube design.
