The art direction I chose was to stay true to current Rom Coms while experimenting with the cartoon art style of the 30s & 40s and adding a canvas texture to give it that extra touch
I used the main colours of blue and yellow from the original poster and added stars to create more depth.

I went a different direction from my sketch but kept the same idea of having Clark and Claudette as the main focus, which is also the basis of most Rom Coms posters.
